The foundation is in place. Now the organization is looking for an experienced CNO who can turn that momentum into long-term retention, engagement and nursing excellence.

The incoming CNO will lead approximately 1,500+ nursing FTEs across a complex acute care environment and inherit an experienced nursing leadership team.

The Leadership Mandate

• Strengthen nurse retention and workforce stability
• Develop and mentor nursing directors and emerging leaders
• Expand shared governance and frontline nurse engagement
• Optimize staffing and reduce reliance on contract labor and unnecessary overtime
• Advance quality and patient experience
• Continue building professional nursing practice and workforce innovation

The CNO will partner closely with the CEO and COO, who previously served as the organization’s CNO and brings a deep understanding of nursing leadership while giving the incoming executive the autonomy to lead.

We are seeking an established acute care hospital CNO, ideally with 3–5+ years of successful CNO experience in a similar setting and measurable accomplishments in retention, engagement, staffing, quality and leadership development.

RN, BSN and an advanced degree required.

The organization offers a generous executive compensation package, including annual bonus incentives and relocation assistance.
