## Description

A large, respected health system in **South Mississippi** is seeking an accomplished **Chief Nursing Officer** to lead nursing across its flagship regional hospital.


This is a significant executive opportunity with responsibility for approximately **1,500+ nursing FTEs** across a **500+ bed, complex acute care hospital** serving patients throughout South Mississippi.


The incoming CNO will inherit an experienced nursing leadership team and an organization that has invested significantly in its workforce, leadership infrastructure and future.

- Lead approximately **1,500+ nursing FTEs** across a broad range of inpatient services

- Set nursing strategy around retention, engagement, quality, staffing and patient experience

- Strengthen shared governance and professional nursing practice

- Advance nursing technology, virtual nursing and workforce innovation

- Help lead the organization's journey toward **Pathway to Excellence**, with Magnet as a longer-term vision


We are seeking an **established CNO**, ideally with **3–5+ years of successful CNO experience** in a large, complex acute care environment and a demonstrated record of improving nursing workforce, quality and operational outcomes.


**RN, BSN and an advanced degree required (if Master's not in Nursing, must hold BSN). Doctorate preferred.**


The organization offers a **generous executive compensation package, annual bonus incentives and relocation assistance.**


This is an onsite executive role in **South Mississippi**, and relocation is required.
