Nealy Pierce is recruiting an experienced physician-practice operations leader for a Director-level role with an established, independent nonprofit health system in the coastal Southeast region.

The Director will provide operational leadership for several busy specialty practices within a highly regarded oncology program, overseeing 7 physicians, 10 APPs and four direct-report leaders.

The organization is looking for someone who can:

• Build strong, credible relationships with physicians
• Lead and develop experienced managers
• Improve access, productivity and operational efficiency
• Maintain an exceptional patient experience
• Recruit and retain strong teams in high-volume practices
• Help lead strategic growth initiatives across specialty services

An exceptional leader from physician-practice, medical group or complex ambulatory operations will be considered. Oncology experience is a plus, but is not required.

Minimum 3 years of healthcare leadership experience required. Master’s degree required; RN not required.

Compensation & Relocation

Base salary up to $163K annually, depending on experience, with potential flexibility for an exceptional candidate. Relocation assistance, including temporary housing, is available, along with a full benefits package.
