Nealy Pierce is exclusively recruiting an Executive Director, Emergency Department (RN) to lead the clinical footprint for a nonprofit Midwest health system. The role is onsite, with relocation required for candidates outside the region.

- Lead emergency care across 3 acute care hospital campuses: a high-acuity 500+ bed flagship hospital as well as two community campuses.
- Support teams serving different patient populations and clinical needs.
- Bring your Level I trauma background to decisions on staffing, quality and patient experience.
- Partner with physicians and inpatient leaders to improve patient throughput
This is a substantial opportunity for an ED nursing leader who knows the complexity of trauma care and wants influence across a full market.
Qualifications:
- Active RN license and master’s degree required
- At least five (5) years of ED nursing leadership in a trauma center setting
- Level I trauma emergency experience required; multi-hospital leadership preferred
- Demonstrated ability to develop leaders and improve ED performance
Compensation & Benefits:
- Up to $210k annually (depending on experience)
- Annual bonus incentive up to 20%
